V Day

We didn't plan anything on Valentine's Day. So I was pleasantly surprised when DH brought in a gift for me on that day. He bought me a "heart-shaped" cactus. So sweet... in fact, I was quite touched by his action because I know he's been so busy lately and had been rushing from meetings to meetings on that day. DH, if you are reading this... I love you (but you knew that) and really appreciate everything you do for me. 

Chu Xi

Jana: Chu Xi we all went to Po Po's house for dinner. Everybody had steam boat for dinner, it looked really yummy but of course, I only had my milk (boo-hoo) and they wonder why I was crying so much!!! Grandma came back with us to stay for a couple of days. I love grandma. I can't tell why, maybe it's her "sing-song" Teochew or maybe because she didn't pinch my cheeks like other people! Anyway, I giggle whenever she speaks in Teochew. Pa, maybe you should teach me Teochew some day, I'm after all a Teochew Mei.

Chu Wu

So today's Chu Wu or the fifth day of Chinese New Year. Here I am only blogging the CNY thingies now! Why? Cos I was too ill to even do anything. On the 3rd day of CNY, I felt ill. Was down with some virus. Fever overtook my body, the excruciating pain and aches drove me to give in totally to this flu. DH took me to the Dr, our plan for the day was kind of interrupted because of me.
